Gabriella Zutrau builds movements that last.
Her work turns attention into impact, translating digital energy into real-world change.
From Zohran Mamdani’s campaign to her Higher Ground Labs fellowship, Gabi’s strategy is proof that care and precision can scale power. She designs systems that hold both the work and the people doing it — where boundaries, rest, and structure aren’t distractions from progress, but the very reason it endures.
This is a Field Note about strategy that moves through heart.
About hope as a discipline.
And about one woman shaping how the future organizes itself.
Gabi reminded me that strategy isn’t just how we win — it’s how we stay.
It’s the slow, deliberate work of building systems that can hold both power and people.
If Gabi’s story moved you, share it with someone who’s learning to build what lasts.
Stop fixing.
Start flowing.
Gabi’s story is part of The Field Year —a year-long archive of portraits, stories, and gatherings that make the unseen seen. If you want to help bring it to life, you can support the GoFundMe here.
If you are also in NYC you can find your poll site here. Be sure to follow Edna while you’re at it!
With gratitude,
Lindsey
