And YES to this too: “I spent years trying to get chosen for a stage.

The real work was choosing myself.”

I know you know this! Why do we need to keep learning it?

bingo. i'm so so so glad you owned and reflected on this process.

as i watched you and your family go through this LIVE in front of me, taking deep long inhales, witnessing the INCREDIBLE supportive love that you'd beamed out at us and that was in REAL TIME beamed back at you,

my heart melted.

it was NOT about the performance it was about the intent.

in the chaos of living, it could not have been more Perfect that your talk recording was THAT experience. because it WAS the topic -- it's not about the Polish, it's about the million of butterfly effect moments before including the rash.

it's about the contribution to those who get on stage and fear the going up of lines, wondering "will they catch me"?

but this line made me lol -- "a breakdown with citations."

your visceral lived experience words have a brilliance that moves. [no citations needed.]

You are a gem my friend. It meant the world to me to have you there, holding space and LOVE throughout all the ups and downs of it all.

Lindsey, congratulations on both the talks, but more so on arriving home to yourself. I so appreciate the honesty, the rawness and the realness of your journey to the stage, your experience on the red dot, and the fact that none of it was as significant to anyone else -- until it was. Thank you for this.
