Some work is easy to see.
But the real work? The kind that makes something possible? That part often gets missed.
The moment before the curtain opens.
Before the ink dries.
Before the voice steadies.
The rituals no one sees. The quiet choices that shape everything.
This is a project about that.
It’s about the work beneath the work — the part no one gets credit for, but without it, nothing would exist.
It’s also about the wildness underneath all of it.
The way your hands move before your mind catches up.
The way the work remakes you, whether you meant it to or not.
I’ve spent my career following this thread.
As a photographer documenting artists in their element.
As a founder building from the ground up.
As a strategist uncovering hidden patterns.
As a tour manager turning chaos into art.
I’m here to witness that space. To shine a light on the skills, stories, and strengths we’ve been taught to overlook.
Because being seen isn’t about stepping into the spotlight. It’s about being met in the moment you’re too deep in the work to care how it looks.
What to Expect:
Field Notes from the Work
🎧 Story Time
Grab your headphones. Take a walk, a lap, a breath. Each Field Note is a short, immersive audio story (5-10 minutes). A voice note from me to you.
📸 A Photo Series – The work before the world sees it. Unfiltered. Unstaged. The way it actually happens.
✨ A One-Liner – The essence of their story.
🌱 A Reflection – Something to take with you. A shift. A question. A practice to make the work work on you.
(and the Wild) is where I capture people out in it — no interviews, no narration, just photos of people deep in what they love.
Each Field Note is a window into someone’s world.
But — most likely — it’s a mirror into your own.
The first one drops Friday.
Until then, tell me: What part of your work stays invisible to others but feels most essential to you?
With gratitude,
Lindsey

I’m loving the timing of this ❤️
I shared this with a friend yesterday about how I experience love, and it encapsulates much of the unseen work I’ve navigating atm. I feel called to share it here.
Love feels like deep presence—like the pause between words, the space between movements, the silence that speaks louder than sound. It’s in the in-between moments where connection is simply felt, where nothing needs to be said or proven, because love already exists in the way two souls recognize each other.
Love is seeing and being seen. It’s in the energy exchanged through shared vulnerability, in the quiet knowing that I am held, not just by another but by life itself. It’s the dance of trust, the surrender to the flow, the embrace of both the mess and the magic.
It’s the way I feel when a certain presence wraps around my heart, even from a distance (something I’ve only ever experienced once). It’s the way I let myself be witnessed, stepping fully into the experience of life, not shying away from the intensity of emotion but welcoming it.
Love, to me, is presence. It’s this moment, right here. It’s the sky I pause to admire. The weight I release in a self-hug and the warmth I long for in a shared hug. The longing that doesn’t pull me away but anchors me deeper into the now.
Love isn’t a question for me anymore. It’s an answer I’m already living.
